AgriTraining International is the international division of ATI Projects Ltd and has worked as contractor and consortium partner on agricultural training and extension services, farm business management, sustainable rural development and infrastructure projects in Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Slovenia, Bosnia Herzogovina, Kenya and Egypt. Funding agencies have included European Union (Tacis, Phare and MEDA), World Bank and UK DfID/KnowHow.

Local Authority Infrastructure development

Successfully worked with local stakeholders to write the bid and win funding for the Priory Square site development in Studley, Warwickshire. The sympathetic ‘live/work’ development of the derelict site has both local resident and parish council approval.  Balancing the residential with some commercial space is seen as helping to revitalize the centre of the village and help the existing independently owned shops. (Growth Deal/Growing Places fund) Stratford District Council

Project Bid Writing – Tourism

Prepared a bid to bring VisitBritain’s prestigious ExploreGB event to Warwickshire. Identified facilities and services to host 1000 national and international visitors to Warwickshire for a two day conference and themed gala dinner, accommodation, transport, and restaurants. Shakespeare’s England

Rural Business Centre Management

Contracted to manage and develop the Minerva Mill Rural Innovation Centre in Alcester, South Warwickshire which provides a business start-up incubator, managed workspace and a virtual business support service for more than 50 local businesses. Client: Minerva Mill

Business Regeneration

Contracted to lead the application to Advantage West Midlands for this £10 million project aimed at regenerating the business environment of Old Town, Leamington Spa through renovation of brown-field sites and premises into innovative workspace for creative industries. Warwick District Council

Althorpe Innovation and Enterprise Centre development

Preparation of £1 million funding proposal to Advantage West Midlands for a new business incubator in Leamington Spa Old Town. ATI then supported the establishment and management of the AIEC. Warwick District Council  

Farm Biomass Cooperative development

Project Managers for Bio-Energy Infrastructure project supporting the establishment of a farm and woodland owners’ cooperative in Warwickshire including harvesting, storing and processing of members’ timber for woodchip; creating the biomass market opportunity. Warwickshire Wood Fuel Ltd

Reviving Enterprise North Warwickshire Project

Feasibility and outline project application for this £3 million initiative that aimed to regenerate urban and rural brownfield sites into SME workspace and starter units – included a review of canal waterway sites for enterprise development and tourism. North Warwickshire Borough Council

Advanced Construction Technology Centre ACT-UK

Development of a Feasibility and Business Plan for £10 million initiative to establish the UK national training and professional development centre in Coventry. Project includes the establishment of a construction business incubator and a Building Management Simulation Centre.  Coventry University / LSC

SME support – The Hub Innovation Centre, Bedworth UK

Main consultant providing technical and marketing support for the establishment of this new innovation and incubation centre servicing the 200+ companies on the Bayton Road Industrial Estate and surrounding SME community. Warwickshire County Council

SME support – Rural Business Centre and pilot Enterprise Incubator

Established pilot rural business centre and business incubator for start-ups in Alcester market town, South Warwickshire; created on-line business network for 50 local SMEs; promoted e-learning for local businesses. Advantage West Midlands
